NextPVR AppleTV app

Hi All

Just picked up the AppleTV app, same issue as Zed. Everything else seems to work fine, and I can see show names in the LiveTV tab. Also, the TV Guide works on the iPad app.

Hey sub, getting close to submitting a new build to Apple? In particular the "swipe down for ip address entry in alternate subnet" mentioned @ https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...823&page=2  Still having to airplay from my iPhone which ties up the phone and runs the battery down fast. I have had an updated version pretty much ready for the last month, but just needed to find a couple of days to finish some stuff, and double check stuff etc...unfortunately it was proving difficult to find that time.

Here in NZ we start 4 weeks of lockdown tomorrow, so I'm gonna have some time available.

Good deal. Ya, same here, not much to do with most everything closed and both spring events out of town cancelled on us. So gave me time to look at this again. I tried setting my Nas 2nd adapter to the same subnet as the AppleTv. But, given the AppleTv subnet is on a Vlan the NextPvr app still can't find the NextPvr server since broadcast packets won't pass over a Vlan. Thanks for keeping this on your task list.

I just installed the apple TV app to work with server v.5.0.2.200322 installed on Docker. But no luck so far, the application crashes as soon as I get to the TV guide ... any idea on what is going on? I saw that some other users have the same issue, right?

I mean to be able access an external host, for example a server in a different location not under the same network,  Current apple TV NextPVR version is version on the AppStore.

For NextPVR V4 ... Settings -> Clients -> Allow remote access
