Post the recording service logs and the names/times of the recordings and I'll take a look.

This show should have started at 12 and ended at 1:30. It seems at about 1:35 things went a bit crazy! I can't show the beginning of the log since it seems to have rolled over according to messages in the log itself

[edit]

Well things got worse. I had a show to record on one tuner at 8:30 and another show at the same time on a different tuner

gbpvr recorded the first show (PVR250) and after one hour kept on recording. It didn't record the second show on the DVB-T tuner. I went into gbpvr and cancelled the recording but it kept on going. And it also said it had a pending recording for the show on the DVB-T tuner even the program end time had elapsed.

In the end I regressed gbpvr to the earlier release and the problem has gone away

I have this happen a lot and had given up trying to do anything about it. I tried v1.3.7 but saw no change. What version did you roll back to?

Have you tried using dvr-ms format for recording instead of mpg2?
I have been seeing similar problems: when I record
two shows at the same time, one of them stops recording
and the other will run past the 1 hour it was supposed to stop.
The problem seems better since I switched to dvr-ms recording format.
(Config, misc2 tab -> BDA Multiplexer)
I am using v1.3.11, using avermedia A180 and Volar USB tuners.
Maybe it is true that the dvr-ms format is more tolerant of glitches..?
