Hi Martin, oops...find attached the correct web.log now...

What did you mean by: "- I recommend streaming with a ts container not."?

Yes, I just used the defaulted settings, happy to make them higher once I know it works.

I 100% know I have no port blocking, I'm a nob at a lot of these things but networking is my job ;-) It's turned off for testing...

What is strange is it worked, then when I clicked on stop and then tried to stream again it wouldn't work....

Thanks for your help....

Unfortunately you are watching live tv with the pvr addon which hijacks web.log for newa/x-newa debugging.

You have a ps container configured in Mux, I'd go with ts

ok...I will make the adjustment above and attempt to stream without LiveTV running...will post the logs later for you....

It's odd that it worked and then didn't though right?

Transcoding can be fickle.

Looking at the log I think I need to add a brief pause which might explain the "odd" behaviour.

Hi Martin..

I'd agree, because sometimes I click on it and it fails, but if I keep clicking on it it will eventually work after 2-5 attempts.....any file I can edit to increase this pause?

Oh, another thing...on the aTV2 when I click on the "Menu" button to exit out of X-NEWA it doesn't work...any suggestions on how I might adjust this behaviour so that it does work?

Sound isn't working on the aTV2 at the moment, but it does work when playing other files on XBMC so I am not sure if I need to further fiddle with codec settings or if it could be something else (ensured I have set my 5.1, DTS, AC3 settings correctly on the aTV interface and in XMBC)...

Thanks....

I'll post an update shortly, configure the pre-buffer delay to the millisecond delay you'd like.

It's not supposed to I wanted to reserve that key. The only context menu is on the guide to allow jumping by dates.

Yeah, I'd try another codec for vlc. AAC might be a better choice for Apple.
