( just got me a new projector and SD is looking really bad and thinking I might start recording movies off terrestrial if they are going to play back /skip ok on 6500)

yeah mine 95% of the time its fine, the odd recording I can't skip back in some videos (skipping backwards actually skips forward) but thats rare, most recordings are completely fine.

yeah I'm not sure why that happens, theres nothing complex in the app to make the entire tv/BR crash and shut down. must just be a bug with the samsung OS.

some of my recordings do that as well, skipping backwards actually goes forward. someone at samsung is looking at the sample files I have, but not sure how well that will go.

Ive also added resume support (forgot to mention that in release update), which for me never actually goes to the desired playback position. I was hoping I might of been able to use that to skip in a file, but alas no go.

Yeah im not so worried now that it skips fine with the dvb-t recordings
It's actually pushed me into getting the HD side of things working
So now I will record movies in HD and general crap in SD

This just proves to me it's a Samsung issue they need to fix , but I'm not holding my breath
