Cool - got it all working. Not sure what I was doing wrong (maybe starting NPVR while Netflix Viewer was trying to do its stuff/connectivity problems/solar flares) but after uninstalling, deleting the DHGB256 folder and reinstalling a couple of times its now working as intended. Thanks for your help - much better to have it integrated with NPVR rather than switching to the Wii Netflix box.

cheers,
tieke

Glad you got it working! I highly recommend that when you perform the database updates that you not have anything else using the internet on your computer. The download is 1.4GB from Netflix and if it hiccups it kills the whole process, so I ususally run mine via windows task at 4am and I have good success. Good luck and let me know if you think of any extra features, or if you run into any problems.

Just found a major problem with the database builder of the program, it is skipping everyother movie. I figured the problem out and have fixed it. Will be releasing it soon. Sorry for the oversight.

I am putting out Version 3.4 tonight, all earlier versions will break after 9/15/12 due to changes in Netlix's API. So make sure you download the new version before then. Netflix has retired Recently Viewed movies, so that has been removed from my program. Also, they have split the DVD and streaming catalog files, so the database update happens about twice as fast as before. As always, please let me know if you have any questions, you can also email me at netflixviewer@embarqmail.com.

Thanks for keeping up on this.
I haven't upgraded in ages as it has been working for me.
I installed the latest version. When I set it to display on the secondary monitor, I just get a black screen, no audio - primary monitor works as it should. I had this issue some time back and you were able to fix it. Anything you can do would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Thank you by the way, I was able to figure out what was wrong because of your previous post telling people how to work around this. It is a silverlight issue and I have to add a registry value (I will automatically add this value to future versions of the program). I have attached a registry file for you to try, it will work for either XP or 7, just get rid of the .txt at the end and run it. Let me know if this fixes the problem if so, i'll get a new release out.

Sadly, no joy.
Still black screen, no audio. Even tried a reboot after clicking the reg file.

I was getting black screen with audio, so I guess the issue is different. Do you have the latest silverlight installed? I used XP/IE8 and 7/IE9 and they worked after I upgraded to silverlight 5.1.10411.0. If you do have the latest, go into the silverlight settings, permissions tab, and switch between deny and allow and see if that helps (for http://movies.netflix.com/wiplayer).

What version of windows/IE are you using?

Did not have latest Silverlight (even though it was set to autoupdate). After updating to Silverlight V5, I have audio, but still back screen. Alternating the allow/deny in permissions did not do anything.
Machine has XP with IE 8 installed.
If I drag Internet Explorer to 2nd monitor, go to Netflix ,select a movie, and then select fullscreen...silverlight pops up and I have pic and sound.
Thanks,
-N

EDIT**
One thing I noticed....If I have the viewer set to primary monitor and play a movie then select fullscreen from within the viewer, I get black screen with audio on the primary.
If I don't select fullscreen, everything is okay on the primary monitor.
Dunno if that helps.
