Do you get a strong signal on each MUX when scanning for channels in Config? I had to edit the registry to pick up certain channels on my Pinaccle Dual tuner jobbie... http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=35368

I have a WinTV 1800 HVR running under Windows XP x64 SP2. GB-PVR 1.2.13 still crashes during channel scan, even with the patch. If I view the details of the error report I get this screen:
It always seems to be with the psiparser.ax module. I've also noticed since applying the patch that it finds far fewer channels during the scan before it crashes, and the ones it does find have no audio or video.

That'll be a different bug than the scanning problem earlier in this thread, and is most likely something in the stream that the PsiParser doesnt like and doesnt handle it well. I think its a ATSC/QAM problem that a small number of people have had off/on for quite a while
A first step would be to determine its a specific channel that does it, then for me to try and get a full transport stream sample for that channel so I can try to replicate the problem here.

How would I got about getting you that sample? This time while scanning channels it was in gbpvrtsmon.ax, and I'm using the patch supplied. I've also noticed the ones it finds are no longer in order (41.3, 41.5, 41.4, etc.) when they were under the previous version. I'd like to use the latest version but this one doesn't seem to work too well for me.

I gave the patch a go and at first whilst it stopped the scan crashing, it wasn't picking up the full channel set so I left off until 1900 local time and gave it another go and the missing channels turned up - some of my local channels don't clock in until 1900 - thanks

Several channel changes here including a slight change of frequencies in the relay made me rescan and crashes were driving me mental. Many, many thanks AI
