why would they have to be re-coded? nothing has really changed in the plugin side of things, other than a couple of new methods added, which are just for music playback.

any ideas??

EDIT: I just went back and uninstalled gbpvr and also deleted every reference to it on my system and reinstalled. It seems to be working fine now [Image: smile.gif]
I had the same problem, however restarted the service (which actually wasn't running) fixed the problem.

Sub great work.. Pity you have to do it all yourself! Great work.

Everything so far works for me, I don't remember all the plugins I'm using but everything is fine so far. My ONLY problem so far is pausing livetv and then fwd or rev or catch up, got video but no sound.. If I stop LiveTV it and go back it works.. haven't tried changing channels yet.. but I'll do a little experimenting tonight, was too excited playing with my MVP.

If you need more info, logs, system specs, etc.. let me know.

I know for myself that if I depress the play button after ffw/rwd and the sound will return. Might be worth a shot.

I am having difficulty getting the new version to run with the MVP. My log contains at the bottom:

And the MVP won't boot. Any ideas?
I uninstalled the previous version and reinstalled the new version and with the MVP unplugged, rebooted the PC.

There were changes in .9 that could effect plug-ins. I used to do a lot of initialization in my class constructors so that the UI performance was faster (since everything had already been loaded when GBPVR was loading). This no longer works. It appears that that plug-ins are called earlier in the init process when not all data structures are initialized so GBPVR returns unpredicable results from various function calls -- which made it hard to track down what the root problem was. If your constuctors never called any functions in GBPVR you would not have noticed any change from .2X to .9X. I have just finished rewriting my code to move the initialization to a later point in time and now it works again. I will be posting an update later tonight.

Love the new OSD for the MVP and DVB-T support.
OK, I seem to have solved this. I uninstalled my T1 card, set up DVB with just the dvico lite installed and then reinstalled the T1 and it seems to be working now. Watching through the xcard is jerky and the picture is prone to locking up, trying to restart GBPVR after a lock up causes a system reboot. Through the MVP it seems to work OK in terms of video delivery but it is prone to crashing the MVP.

jrock, I think Sub mentioned that this was indeed a confirmed bug with the external fixed channel thing in 0908. I have it too. He said he would fix it when he got back into town (Tuesday night I believe it was.)
