It's too bad that Open TV is not a superset of FreeSat, at least when it comes to FTA radio.

Sorry - any chance of two updated files again? I'm just running out of live data in the previous files.
It's working pretty well with both Freesat and OpenTV now. I'm just starting the last phase of the changes, where I try to make sure its all wired up correctly so that'll work for a user with real broadcasts etc. (2024-01-12, 04:20 AM)sub Wrote: Sorry - any chance of two updated files again? Here you go: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nkDoUj2...sp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zYf-ynI...sp=sharing Just for info, while recording these I saw several lines like below in the transcript. I'm not sure what these indicate. Is this normal or signs of poor tuner sensitivity, bad signal quality etc.? Quote:[rtsp @ 0000022bbc75da40] max delay reached. need to consume packete+05x I've also noticed that when recording sat channels there are pixel noise flashes every few minutes. I've included the screen shot of the status in case that is related or explains anything. Is the second image (from the Sat>IP docs) the correct interpretation of the status values?

Looks like your signal is not perfect.

Yeh, that's what I thought. Hopefully that data is still useful though. I guess I'm going to have to find someone with a big ladder to check the cabling! ? Interestingly there are reports on the web by others with the Telestar device that they've noticed a difference in tuner sensitivity between the two tuners in the box. I might have to swap them over and retest. The SNR and Signal Quality values don't appear great in TVHeadend. |
