Wait 24hours and try again, actually wait like 28hrs so you try at a different time and I'll bet it will work.

Thanks for the feedback, I waited yesterday out and tried to download the listing again today it is even worse. Now the schedule only goes up to channel 41...

I tried several different zip in my area and still no go. Attached is my logs. I'm in 95134 using Comcast digital. I also tried 94086, 95054 and several others...

I can't actually pull a schedule for you right now (a yahoo thing). But the log you provided was only the log for you pressing the current settings button, you didn't actually try to create an xml file.

Yes, actually I'm having problem pulling the schedule only. Once I can get that, the xml file outputs fine.

So I'll wait a bit to try again.

Not sure if this app has anything to do with the channel changer, but mine quit working as soon as I installed it.

GBPVR 1.08, exe changer for DTV hard wired through the serial port.
This has worked great for a couple years with Zap2it.
Something to do with chanel mapping? I haven't tried that.
Seems like the channel numbers are not displayed the same as they used to be.

I am a new to this PVR stuff. I need a little help getting this EPG to work. zap2it was pretty straight forward as is this program. Unfortunatley, I cannot get it to work. Attached is my log file. I am only trying to use the card for OTA HD channels (61528 or 61604).

Here's one for you. Everything seems to work fine, except I have four channels that are out of order. I'm using Comcast, not the digital feed, in San Jose, CA. Channel 41 comes in as channel 89, channel 29 is channel 90, channel 49 is channel 91, and channel 72 is channel 92.

Also, when I'm watching live TV, I have to type in 89 to watch channel 41, 90 to watch 29, etc.

I've tried emptying the EPG, exporting the recordings, and everything else listed on the Wiki, but nothing worked. Any thoughts?

I tried to attach my logs and schedule, but I was having some trouble. If you need it, let me know and I can send it to you somehow.

By the way, thanks for this application. I started running in circles not knowing what to do when I heard Zap2it was going down.

Krusty.

Did you have an EPG before you switched to the API, for example Zap2it?

If you did, and you switched to th API, any channel you had a scheduled recording on would not have been deleted. Then, when you add the API it, it would see you have a channel 41, 29, so it will just tack them on at the end. This is a GBPVR thing, not an API thing.

There is an BAT file on the Wiki that should fix this for you.

http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Manual/EPG#toc20

I'm making an assumption I understand your problem, you might want to wait for -Oz- to reply, incase I've completely missed the point, and running the bat file makes things worse.

The solution is to delete all the channels using the config tool. One by one. Then reload the EGP. I think I read that somewhere. Seems to work right now. Thanks.

I can't get the initial file to download. I get an "Error. Schedule File Corrupted or Not Found - All Retries Failed." I tried both last night (multiple times) and this morning. If this is a Yahoo problem, is there some way to find out whether it's temporary or permanent? Any other ideas?

1) stop the gbpvr service (start > run > services.msc > in the services window locate "gb-pvr recording service" and select stop)
2) from C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr do the following:
- rename gbpvr.db3 to gbpvr_old.db3
- copy empty.db3 into same folder and rename to gbpvr.db3

that worked for me.
