This works for me. It monitors cpu/hard drive/network activity to determine when to hibernate.

I am waking this thread up again. I have also had issues with computer going to sleep/standby/hibernate lately. I did some tests, and whenever I disable the "soon recording" panel on the main menu, the computer goes to standby perfectly. If the "soon recording" is on, then the computer will *not* go into hibernate 95 % of the time. Sometimes it does (with the "soon recording on), though, but I can't find a pattern to when it will.
