I have PriorityRecording.XML as well, still getting the same error, the above BAT file does worry me though... Need to get clarification on that.
Many Thanks
Ashley

Do you have PriorityRecordings.XSD as well.

You can also remove the priorityrecordings.exe entry from the PostUpdateEPG.bat if you don't want to use XRecords priority scheduling ability.

If you still have a problem after this, zip up your PriorityRecording.xml file, and I'll take a look. I've attached the XSD file that is needed.

SFX Group, I think I know what your problem is. The XML file is trying to find the Schemas but it is looking in the wrong place. I believe you said that your GBPVR installation is on drive D, if that is the case, then you need to edit the XML file so that it looks for PriorityRecording.XSD on drive D.

Change:
Code:
d1p1:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\PriorityRecordings.xsd"

To:
Code:
d1p1:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="D:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\PriorityRecordings.xsd"

That should take care of your problem. You should only have to do this once, and if you use the Schedule option within XRecord, it'll write out an XML file with the correct path information for the XSD when you create entries.

Hi, many thanks, well spotted, i sort of assumed the installer would do all the legwork for renaming.

I have altered that in the XML file, will keep you posted if it crashes (will know in about 12 hours).

Who has the power of WIKI, this should be put on the XRECORD WIKI site, to make sure the PostUpdateEPG.BAT file has the correct location and so doe the PriorityRecordings.xml file has the same done in it as well.

It would appear alot have it in Drive D and not C.
Many Thanks
Ashley

Do you guys remember the keystrokes to move recordings entries up and down in the scheduler list (i.e. increase or decrease the priority)? I remember seeing a post about this a while back, but could not find that post, nor could I find the information on the wiki.

I think it it is CTRL-Y or the Yellow button on the remote.

SFX, I can update the wiki. There really needs to be a FAQ created for some of this stuff as it gets asked quite often.

Hi, still crashes....

I might add i have restarted the GBPVR service etc... before this.

This still leaves this PostUpdateEPG.bat having "PriorityRecording.exe > recording.log" but then when it runs (even when you click it) the DOC box screen shows "PriorityRecording.exe 1> recording.log"??? Is this right?

This doesnt sound right to me?
Many Thanks
Ashley
