I have (now) also made a direct link to that page in the sidebar since it's probably one of the first pages a potential user would like to see.

Do help to keep the list up-to-date, as stated above it IS a community document.

Will i be stepping on anyones toes if i try fleshing this page out into a more comprehensive table? thinking of indicating which cards are nativly supported and which ones you need to go through the procedure MixMan mentions. I think MixMans idea of having a link to the drivers would be useful too so id like to add a column in for that.

Sub started an explanation of Graphedit here which goes some way to what your suggesting, I'll put that on a page too as a starting point. Maybe someone else can add a bit about building your own graph, ive never had to do it. Im not sure what section that would be under though? A subpage of the 'Manual' section i guess...

My toes are well hidden Wink

Would it be worthwhile to have a summary of the (most popular) cards working with GB-PVR on the currently existing page, and then link to a new page which holds the full table. (In this way you could later easily split the table into several pages if you feel it grows cumbersome.

So, Blader_se, what are we going to do with the info in the first post ?
Perhaps a "header" in the Wiki - What is GBPVR ?
I updated the card list in the Wiki.

By the way...How do I do to add the BaseSKin to the wiki ?
Best Regards

@Blader_Se - Could you add me to the wiki editor list? I'd like to update the tutorial I wrote for ATSC devices.

For the pvr-350 we should add something such as

Hauppauge PVR350 (limited support - check forums)

or

Hauppauge PVR350 (no longer recommended)

We need to highlight the practical limitions of the pvr-350 as there are many people who come to this site with high expectations of what they hope to achieve, only to have them dashed in the forums.

The 350 costs an arm and a leg more than the 150 with no real world advantages for most people.

perhaps the home page should have a link to the wiki for details on currently supported cards, rather than listing them on the home page itself

Perhaps a "header" in the Wiki - What is GBPVR ?

I see it as a "comprehensive sumary of features" and feel it would be great if we make it into an alternative way to navigate into the wiki.

I propose to make a page (Manual/Features), make a link to this from the front page ("What is GBPVR", where there's a link to http://www.gbpr.com today), copy the stuff you had in your post, and bomb it with links into the wiki to find out more about how to achive the features, perhaps taking advantage of the Categories.

Some parts could be moved to were it is already placed today, such as the QuickStart/DownloadInstall

What do you think?

MixMan Wrote:By the way...How do I do to add the BaseSKin to the wiki ?

Sorry, I did not understand that, could you clarify what you mean?

BTW As you probably noted, I've moved the BatchFile section into the Manual section since there's no "batchfile" tab in the config utility (or has that been added in lately?).
