ok this adds to the confusion..........

I uninstalled and re-installed, now when I run device manager I get no conexant drivers listed, I now get 4 tevion dirvers instead of 2...........

these are now...

TEVION DVBT 2388x AVStream Crossbar
TEVION DVBT 2388x Transport Stream Capture
TEVION DVBT 2388x Video Capture
TEVION DVBT BDA Tuner/Demod

But.....

If I run the directshow filter enumerator, none of thses are shown, only...wait for it..the one and only...

DigiGo DVBT BDA Tuner/Demod
DigiGo DVBT 2388x Transport Stream Capture

So wheres that from!

Oh well, I'l go edit the bda.inin and try variations on these.

Even if it is supported, a nova-t card costs only £10 - £15 more and has loads of support with new drivers and with GBPVR.

If you buy one mail order or from internet you get 7 days to try it and can get a refund no questions asked if it does not work/you dont like it.

Where can I get above card for that Price..?

Can I also run 2 of these in a PC ..?

I am thinking of connecting that to my Normal Setup

i.E.

Antenna comes into the House
Plugs into my SlY +

RF Out of Sly + Plugs into 8x Digital Amp that distributes around the House and I would use 2 output's from this SLx Amp into 2 Nova Cards

Or do I need a seperate Antenna ..?

would that not mean the only thing the cards would see is OTA via sky+, wont the sky+ kill the signal, I know analog is 'passed' through sky ok but the digital is bit more bandwidth hungry?

The Sky box should pass the signal - it is supposed to pass it onto a following TV set. AFAIK bandwidth of Sky box is whole band so I see no reason it won't pass the signal on. I hope so, as I'm going down this route when the weather improves and I can get a new aerial on the roof.
I run RF2 out of a Sky box up to the 'shack' for signal one way and digi-eye for channel change the other way. (well when Hauppuge get their finger out and get the IRBlaster code sorted out).

Try aldi.......

Thats often wrong, most cheap bits of trash are just expensive products with the freebies and good quality manuals removed.

In the case of this card, its just a budget card thats the same as all other budget cards, works fine now, but the drivers dont support 2 cards at once.

The old nova-t was a phillips chipset, funnily the aldi advert said this card was phillips chipset.........

I just did a google and it seems that new nova-t chipsets use the same chipset as the aldi card..............

So, gives me more drivers to try.

lol I'l try anything, managed to stop both my cards working last night took me over 2 hours to get a picture back out of one!

yeah just email em to lez.briddon at google mail

I have had no viewing or recording problems with the drivers off the aldi cd, except they wont talk to two cards to dual view.

starting to think I should have got two cards of different types
