please do.

your capture source names don't end with numbers, do they? (see my reply to wannabepvr)

Removing the digit from the recording source name worked perfectly. Big Grin

Thank you very much.

Might I suggest that this hint be added to the wiki - The temptation to use digits for multiple sources is very strong.
Core2-E2180, 1G RAM, 1Gb-5450 Silent, 2Tb +300g HDDs.
Three tuners: Twinhan DVB-T x 1, Hauppauge Nova 500T (dual)

DTB Digital SD + HD content (PAL-MPEG2-AC3).
Custom case made very quiet. Zalman CPU cooler.
Sits in rack with other HiFi.

ParaLED to show tuner activity.

heh. yeah, i will. this problem exists since the beginning but i never thought of it.

my capture source names using numbers too, but they are named 'pvr150', 'pvr350' and 'pvr150mce'..

and due to the way paraLED is parsing the string, a 0 at the end is not 'evil' - same goes for everything higher than the number of capture sources Smile

ParaLED is working great for me now.

Is there anyway ParaLED can be used to also show tuner use for live TV and timeshift?

sure. IIRC, i did not add this because alex060670 who first asked for a LED-utility did not want to 'display' live-tv/timeshift, only 'real' recordings.

i will include live-tv/timeshift (its a simple change) and add it to the config.

[edit]it's done. you can download it from the wiki

Hi Betlit,

I only have one tuner - but want to use other leds to indicate if processes are running (my epg update batch etc) - is there any way to just pass the led number to Paraled so that it switches a led on / off (at the start / end of a batch file?)

This would still be while retaining the ability to see when the tuner is in use.

Thanks
