Big screen advice

Thanks, all, for trying to help. I do appreciate it. I re-visited friend's place today and have decided that maybe I was being a bit silly in looking closely at his screen to check the quality of the image. I now appreciate more fully the fact that you need to judge quality from the appropriate distance, especially when looking at a big screen.

As you say, sub, the mvp can only put out a dvd image.
