If you temporarily remove every file from your plugins directory, does the problem still occur?

I'll try it and get back to you after I can access my MVP. I'm at work, but I can't VNC my MVP power on button just yet :-)

Cool, thanks for that tipstir.

QUick Q. If I have my wired MVP connected to a Wireless Router (as per sig), should I use the Wired or (eagerly awaited) Wireless tweaks?

Um .. I don't believe I ever mentioned the system rebooting... Smile

The problem is simply that when I use GBPVR on the MVP, switch it off, THEN try to use GBPVR on the PC, it plays back (on the PC) like it is in slow-motion and there is no audio (apart from a millisecond's worth at the start).

It's like something did not close down or unhook after the MVP session. If I THEN restart the recording service (normally I do this with config), it works perfectly, great audio, great pic, no slow-mo feel to it.

Things getting sluggish over time is often a sign of memory leaks. It may be worth trying to monitor the GB-PVR processes over time with Perfmon.

OK, thanks sub, I'll give it a crack, although yesterday I didn't even wait overnight, I tried it straight after shutting down the MVP, smae thing. What sort of time frame is "over time" with these memory leak thingies?

The thing that bugs me is it goes GREAT when I restart GBPVR. Couldn't be better. I guess if it is a memory leak, then that "flushes it out and revives" it?

It depends on how big the leak is.
