I have set the 'held key delay' in HIP to 700ms, so when I hold a key down on the remote it repeats every 0.7sec.
I would like to set it to less, but if I do GBPVR doesn't keep up. This means after I have stopped holding the button, scrolling of options keeps going for a while longer.
I know GBPVR can respond faster, as it goes much faster using the keyboard.
Is there a setting somewhere to fix this? (I can't find one)
Thanks

are you using the hip delay update file? http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=3...stcount=42
otherwise, hip doesn't honor those settings at all...[at least for mce dongles]
tho it might make things worse..Smile

plus, i use sendkeys istead of normal keystrokes,i think they may be faster...

Mines the dvico remote so I dont have a hipmce.dll to replace - Im using hiphid.dll.
The control in HIP for this setting does seem to work - at least HIP seems to generate keypresses at the same rate as the setting, but there is something limiting the rate of keypresses getting to GBPVR.

I'm pretty sure its occurring in HIP, not GB-PVR.

There is no reason a remote couldnt push keystrokes to GB-PVR as fast as the keyboard (to GB-PVR they just look like keyboard events anyway).
