A few things you could try to see if they make any difference
- temporarily disable hardware accelleration on the Cyberlink decoder - maybe try the 9.0b version of quartz.dll (see sticky thread) - maybe try VMR9 instead of VMR9 Custom to see if it makes any difference

Sorry none of these seem to make any difference, just to be sure how do i tell what version of quartz.dll im using.
Cheers Jase

I'm dont remember seeing comments about that specific version. Its probably worth trying some other versions if you can. Here is comments mobiusnz made recently http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...tcount=103
Have you tried other decoders?

here is a link to the 6.5.1.902 version a lot of people use: http://forums.snapstream.com/vb/showpost...stcount=26
Remember to reboot in safe mode to replace this file.

Sub is probably going to whack me upside the head for saying this, because I've seen him advise the opposite more (if not always), but I am using the Dscaler MPEG2 Decoder and (here comes the whack...cringe...) both audio decoder and renderer are set to System Default. I know, I know...but if I set the audio options to anything other than System Default, I would get stuttering and jerky video. I suppose if I could figure out what my System Defaults actually were and set it to that, it would probably work the same, but I haven't been able to figure that out yet.
I have a nVidia FX5200 with a PVR150 and PVR500. I've also messed around with just about every decoder (both audio and video), and the above settings have been working great for a quite a while now (through quite a few updates, reinstalls, driver updates, etc.). Your mileage may vary. One of these days I'm going to have to figure out what my defaults are.... ![]() Good luck!
Chris
GBPVR system info intentionally left blank because I'm personally insulted that you can't remember it from previous signatures.

Changing the quart.dll made no differnce.
I have tried loads of different decoders all give the same results, is there any way i can find out which decoders renders ect my compro software is using as this works fine. Cheers Jase
