Okay,

Here's another log (without the MVP-Servers).

Here's what I did:

start GBPVR
Watch Live TV
Exit to menu
Watch Live TV
Exit to menu
Watch Live TV
--> No tuners available

When I look at the status with the "Tray" application, I see that the tuner seems to get "stuck". I.e. it doesn't get released when I exit Live TV.....

Since I have a dual tuner (500 MCE), this means that after two tries both tuners are "stuck", and when I try a third time, I get the message "No tuners Available"....

Anyhoo, here's the new (non MVP) logs...

I think I know what is happening. Can you see if the attached patch helps?

It probably would have corrected itself after a minute or so of sitting at the menu..

Well, that did the trick!!!

For the record, I also tried to old version, and left it running for about 5 minutes (as a matter of fact it's still running), and the tuners are still not released....

The updated "exe" did the trick, but I also replaced "BackEndCommon"....

Hi sub,

getting exactly the same problem with my Nova-T, have to restart recording service from tray. Also can't seem to download the attachments in your posts, they always seem corrupt or is it me doing something wrong?

Long story which I dont what to get into again, but some Internet Explorer users have problems downloading zip file attachments from this website.

You can do one of the following

- download the file and open it with WinRAR.
- or download it with a download manager
- or download it with a different browser
- or disable HTTP 1.1 extensions in the IE settings then download it
- or some other things I cant be arsed retyping...

Disabling http 1.1 does work. Infact this is what I've done on my PCs to correct the issue. Its most likely you already had a copy of the problem file in your Internet Explorer cached files.

Oh ok, but installed Firefox now which was something I meant to do at some point anyway! As usual it sorted the problem so thanks again!
