skin: nuoro v0.1 - the 4:3-version of sassari

never mind! what i had done was install nuoro, then launched GBPVR and went to the new system settings option and selected nuoro. then proceeded to view the skin where i found the weather to be as you see it above. but based on your *super quick* reply, i decided to reboot and see if that made a difference and it did! sorry! maybe this is an issue with the system/setting/skin feature?

Just to add to the praise, this is now my chosen skin - absolutely great, and very professional!
If I could suggest some plugins to be added to the list?... news, caller id, music panel, music player (think this one is hardcoded though), and calendar; that would be great. Whatever happens though, this skin is very much appreciated.

Music player isn't hard coded. The skins are almost the same as the VA plug-in, so once you have done one the other is fairly straight forward.

A humble suggestion..I was a HUGE fan of ContourHC and loved the Music Panel plugin, if something to show artist and track on the main screen could be worked in I would be even more happy with this steller skin.

va-panel works. you have to uncomment the specific lines in main menu/skin.xml. i haven't worked on other panels yet, but i will in the near future.

i have uploaded a new version to the wiki. it contains support for video archiver and show search.
the little app can now change the button and listview-color and set va-panel active.

didn't want to make it too public: i'll be off for the next 10 days. the weather plugin told me, that the weather in sassari, olbia and nuoro will be just fine the next few days
 i will miss a few good tv-shows.... don't know yet, if i should leave the computer switched on....that gbpvr made me totally dependent! post your errors and problems and suggestions with the skin, i'll take a look when i'm back.
