MVP Visible Screen Redraw with 98.8

Also did some tests here. I get a double screen draw on all plugins when I select the onscreen menu button to exit the plugin. There was also a double draw when exiting plugins using both the MENU and BACK/EXIT buttons on the remote control, with the following exceptions:TVGUIDE exits normally with BACK/EXIT, VIDEO LIBRARY and WEATHER exit normally with MENU.

I see this to on all the plug-ins that I have written (video archive, weather, show search, music player) and none of the built in ones. Sub, could you try installing one of these plug-ins on your development machine and see if you can replicate it? Or, could you point me to something to try to pin point the issue?

I did replicate it this morning, and fixed it for the next release.

I hadnt noticed it because I usually press the home/menu key on the MVP remote for returning to the main menu. Doing this didnt seem to result in the problem from any screen I tried.

I just love this place. Where else can you openly discuss problems with no protectionist attitude... And get them fixed.

This is such a contrast to when I complained about serious bugs in the Netgear MP101 provided software some years ago. All I got was a shrug of the shoulder and most certainly no fix. What was a promising device at the time, was rendered a useless piece of set top furniture.

The MVP might well be in the same category, from what I have read elsewhere, were it not for GBPVR. I personally couldn't say anything about the Hauppauge software because I haven't even put the CD in the drive nor touched the Hauppauge downloads!
