Quote:I did have a zap2it problem in the last few days. Not the one listed above, but the "field too small" one
This typically relates to having a large number of channels with the same name, like 30 channels all called "PPV" or somthing similar, and can be easily resolved by logging into http://labs.zap2it.com and removing these duplicates from your channel lineup.

I think I've been experiencing a similar problem over the last week or so. Seems like about every other day or so, I go into the TV guide and it's completely empty EXCEPT for those items I've scheduled recordings for. If I go into the "SYSTEM" tab within GB-PVR, and click on "Update EPG" all the TV guide listings show up fine again. But it's driving the wife crazy!

Is this similar to what you guys are experiencing? I've tried poking around the forums but couldn't find anything helpful. Please help!

I've seen this on my laptop. I found that if I updated when the recording service was not running, the resulting EPG was blank (and no programme data in gbpvr.db3). Started the recording service, updated again and the EPG was full.
What, me worry?

Hmmm.. my recording service is basically always running and my EPG updates every night at like 2 a.m. or something. My computer is always on.

Sub , here's my logs - hopefully there's something useful in there - the last time this problem happened was about 2 days ago.

Thats odd, everything looks fine in your logs.

You could try setting <SaveZap2itXML>true</SaveZap2itXML> in config.xml, then next time it happens, zip and attach the c:\zap2it.xml file. This will let use see if zap2it is sending some nearly empty listings for the requested period (but not error'ing out).

Which same issue? There has been three or four discussed here.

Give a good description and post your logs and I'll take a look.
