"ping www.gbpvr.com" ergibt folgende IP-Adresse: 72.36.201.130

He's saying that he's seeing the php info page that I am seeing, and he doesn't think it is a cache issue, because he hasn't tried accessing the page for 3 weeks. He also says that when he pings http://www.www.gbpvr.com, the ip shown is 72.36.201.130.

At least, that's how babelfish.altavista.com translates it.

The php info thing should be gone now. It was picking up index.php before index.html, which was the real homepage. Silly mistake on my part when I was fixing the pmwiki.php thing you mentioned above.

Still not quite there for my ZProcess Wiki page... Probably caching. I'll gladly wait..

BTW sub, I noticed the $$$. Has the wiki become a much larger expense?

It now costs me about $100 per month for the wiki, homepage and downloads of the GB-PVR installer. These days there is a seriously large number of users downloading GB-PVR and using the wiki at any one time, so it needs a pretty decent web server, and dedicated servers dont come cheap. It may not seem a huge amount per month, but US$1200 for a year starts to sound like a lot.

Just installed 98.8 of GBPVR and trying to download plugins from wiki, why is it extremely slow, trying to download Video Archive and Weather, and it has been an 1 hour already and am still at 40%. Tried to download again, but access won't respond.

I dont know why you'd be seeing this. Maybe you still have cached DNS entries looking at the old server.

I've download Video Archive and Weather in the last minute since you posted this without any issues. Video Archive came down at 310KB/s - all 2.9MB in less than 10 seconds.

Figured it out, Google's Web Accelerator decided to totally decelerate my connection. I uninstalled it and now everything is fast and good
