Thats quite a big log with a lot of junk in it. Can you tell me what show specifically you tried to create a season recording for that failed? It'll help me narrow down the bit of interest.
Now I'm getting an error kicked out on the recording screen. I think (if you haven't already spotted this) that there's some miscommunication with times or I'm not understanding the time scheme.
4:00 - 5:00 2 programs scheduled - not relevant.
5:00 - 6:00 Prime News With Erica Hill
5:00 - 6:00 Special Report With Brit Hume
At this time period (5-6), there is a "The Crocodile Hunter" that is available, but it IS NOT the one I selected.
6:00 - 7:00 The Crocodile Hunter
6:00 - 7:00 The Situation Room
The 6-7 of The Crocodile Hunter seems to be interpreted as the 5-6 version. They're on the same channel.
I've also had half-hour shows where I record a half-hour of the show, and GBPVR selects the ENTIRE hour to record.
You may have seen this in the logs - Meerkat Manor had exactly that type of behavior.
The Crocodile Hunter is an hour-long show, so I don't know why it would behave in the same manner

Heh Yeah, sorry about that. I haven't turned it off in quite a while. The above post also lays out the specific problems - the problems are reproduced in the log between 3:00 and 3:05 today (obviously at the bottom of the logfile).
Otherwise I can reboot the system and generate a fresh logfile
A timeslot season recording effectively tells GB-PVR to recording any shows with the same title, with a start time within +/- 90 minutes of the original recording start time. So if you have two episodes of "The Crocodile Hunter" airing within that 180 minute period, then they'll both be scheduled.
This +/- 90 minutes timeslot is to accommodate small changes that occur to broadcast schedules, for example a show playing an hour late one week.
If 90 minutes doesnt suit you, then you have adjust the size of the timeslot in the config.xml file.
Whew! That makes perfect sense to me, although I would need to change that. For whatever reason, there's several shows like that (back-to-back) that are interfering with other things.
What lines do I have to address in the config.xml? Is it simply labeled "timeslot"?

Yeah, that seems to be a bit of USA-ism. Its not that common in most parts of the world, and damn convenient to be sure that show will still be recorded even if they're moved an hour. If you reduce that value to nothing, then you'll lose that excellent feature.
