Hauppauge no, Pinnacle yes, help please

no MPEG2 encoder ?
others have reported that this card is capable of working fine wit GB-PVR:

How can I fix my original problem ? I thought of using this Pinnacle card
instead of waiting for a driver fix from Hauppauge.
I am afraid that you are right, please let me know if that is so and what next can you suggest.

If you right click on the capture pin, and select 'render pin', what graph does it result in?

Then do the same thing for the pin called 'Analog ITU Video'

The capture pin is definitely not MPEG2, so not an option for using with GB-PVR.

Its hard to tell with the other pin - we'd need to find out what normally connects to that pin to take this any further. Normally with the hardware encoder cards, like the Hauppauge PVR150 etc, this connects to a filter in the 'WDM Streaming Encoder Devices' or 'WDM Streaming Multiplexer Devices' categories, but I dont think you have anything in those (double check though).

To be honest, this is where is becomes awkward having an odd-ball card. I really dont know anything about this card, and I dont have one to do any experimenting with. If you can work out what connects to this pin, then we can investigate further, but without that info its pretty much not going to work.
