It's a Private Message.

Checked the logs. all good...

Anyway, check out the attachment of a test version, 819...

Ok, I tried the new version and it works!

I was able to breifly look at the dos window you mentioned and there was an error in it, I *think* it was looking for a true type font (TTF), and it couldn't find it.

I've given up on that truetype error, a long time ago. I believe it would be used if I hooked in subtitle features. I'll cross that bridge if I cross that bridge.

The error that I was referring to looks like this:

I've done some searching and it seems that in my zeal to get rid of these errors, I broke it for Enya videos (I mean video in 25 fps...)

The same thing happened for my Superman rip. Anyway, according to the Mencoder docs and forums, this type of activity is OK.

What matters for me though is that the actual video plays well.

So if that plays well for you, I'll add this to the wiki for downloads...

Thanks for your patience

The trans2MVP works with ffmpeg but not with mencoder. I checked the "get file's input FPS" on version 819, but no luck. I can't get passed the type 13 error.

First, the get file's fps was causing enough trouble before that I suggest for it to be UnChecked...

Yep, you're having trouble with Mencoder or rather mplayer getting the info from your files...

What are your system specs?

Zehd, Thanks for looking at this. Definitely a slower machine, is this type of transcoding beyond it's abilities?

Computer specs:
Intel Pentium 4
1.7 GHz
768 MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400
2 x EIDE Hard Drives
Hauppauage WinTV PVR PCI II (26xxx)

I would not consider your computer to be too slow. But It possible that some of the pauses in my program are not actually long enough waiting for the CPU.

I have to admit that I'm getting kind of tired on the whole 'call mplayer externally to get file info'. Currently I'm looking into something a little different, and hopefully we won't need to go that route....

Give me another day and I'll see if I can take this situation into account...

Murf64 try this attached version...

What this does: ZProcess will now use the original API for detecting Width and Height of AVI files. It will still use the new (and seemingly faulty) technique for getting the file info for wmv and mpgs, (and anything else)

One point though. I'm thinking of mothballing a feature but haven't done this yet... Please make sure that the 'Get Input File's FPS' is UNChecked.

I think future releases will have that removed...

Zehd, I tried the new file, but still no luck. In this log you'll see the last transcode was with ffmpeg and it didn't give the type 13 error.
Thanks for all your work.

Zehd, I tried the new file, but still no luck. In this log you'll see the last transcode was with ffmpeg and it didn't give the type 13 error. I should also add that while the ffmepeg transcode works on my computer, it does not seem to work when I try to call them up on the MVP. It usually causes the MVP to reboot.

Thanks for all your help.
