Added Joost to the GB-PVR main menu as a "custom task" then added a Joost section to my Happauge irremote.ini file.

While not exactly "seamless integration", the two apps co-exist OK on my TV and I can toggle between them and control both from the couch. Sadly, integrating it via UbuStream or ExternalRecorder is probably a non-runner since the UDP streams are highly proprietary and require the Joost player (which doesn't expose an external interface for changing channel).

Joost is an interesting idea, however I am not overly fond of it because of the restrictions that are being placed upon it. The proprietary DRM, the locking of content to countries (it was originally thought this wasn't going to happen, until the latest update, now American content is limited to America, and people in the UK barely get anything), the fact the content cant be accessed any other way than through Joost and the general direction they seem to be heading in. It seems that they are giving in to all the demands the big media company wants to make the service more and more restrictive, and in the process, losing what originally made the service appealing.
