Sub and HtV,
Thanks for the suggestions. I tried each but no luck. I tried:
1. Turning off MediaMVP by selecting this program from the Start menu and then choosing "Stop". The DOS box appeared and indicated it was turned off. When I returned to MediaMVP from the Start menu, I saw the item "Stop" still; I still see "Start" item. I didn't expect this because I thought I successfully stopped it. Did I not stop MVP properly?
2. I played with the Video Decoder and Audio Decoder setting in the Config. The options I have are
Video: System Default, InterVideo NonCSS VIdeo Decoder for..., CyberLink Video/SP Decoder, and MainConcept (Hauppauge) MPEG
Audio: System Default, MPEG Audio Decoder, CyberLink Audio Decoder, InterVideo NonCSS Audio Decoder for ..., and MainConcept (Hauppauge) MPEG.
I tried the 'natural' combinations. Originally it was the two system defaults, then I tried INterVideo, then Cyberlink, then MainConcept but the problem remains.
