there is no problem with the six missing pixels, and that is completely standard, every panel with that resolution loses those six pixels when used with VGA

Ya think soaps have a problem?
I heard the adult film industry is giving a lot of work to cosmetic surgeons because of HD. We were flipping between directv SD & on-air antenna for superbowl & the SD looked... not nearly as good.

I've heard Directv HD referred to as HD-Lite because they have compressed the heck out of the signal.
During football season they had to kill one of their HD channels on Sunday nights so they had enough bandwidth to show the football game. their throwing a couple more sats. up there so maybe they will ease up on their compression. We turned into HD snobs during the superbowl. We laughed at commercials that were broadcast in a lowly 480i.

Thanks for the input people... I will look into getting a DVI-HDMI cable and see what I get for it..... I sure love this display tho... why did I wait so dang long!

May I suggest monoprice.com for low cost hdmi-hdmi and hdmi-dvi cables. A fraction of the cost store bought ones. I have both types and are just as good as name brand.
