I'm going out now from a stupid TV-board that sometime don't starts when PC starts or wakes up. It's really matter to me that the new board is very stable.
Does Nova-T 500 start each time? Which is the much stable?
If you can't answer to that pheraps you can answer at next:
Which board do I have not to buy ?

Thank you again

Nova-T always starts BUT it has been necessary for me to add a pause in my wake.cmd before re-starting ir.exe as sometimes it fails for me.

what is the stupid tv card that you have? Perhaps try playing around with the microsoft devcon utility to see if you can restart it when gbpvr wakes up. to do this you need gbpvrwake.exe and a wake.cmd batch file. search the forums for these commands (if you are interested in doing this.

Since I first replied to your post, I have noticed some very small amounts of digital corruption occasionally appearing in the recordings made from my 500. I never had this problem on the usb2. However, this could be an aerial cable problem - I need to investigate.

I would say that they are both about 95% stable....

My card is Lifeview Flydvb-T Hybrid . I tried (with the help of Sub "the Saint") to use the devcon utility but the drivers didn't accept the commands

Harghhhh... my stupid card do the same: one or twice time at week it doesn't start up. If my wife miss a single episode of her serials the life become hard to me Big Grin
If you write that what can it mean ? Doesn't any card work stable ?
