Okay, I uninstalled 0.99.5, renamed the directory, reinstalled 0.99.5 and tested my MVP. Still using Access DB. Pause now works. However, skip ahead and skip back sometimes work, other times are very eratic (sometimes skip ahead goes backwards and vice-versa, or skips WAY ahead, etc). I had seen this before with 0.99.5, but I thought it was an isolated case.

Any thoughts? I can try to create some more useful log files if that would help. They are currently a mess because we were "projecting" and cycled power to the MVPs several times.

Thanks,
-Brad

Maybe the PVR150 timestamp error, which is known to also affect PVR500's? Try th driver drivers plus registry settings from: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=14006. Those symptoms sound just like that problem.

Wow, that does sound like my problem. I was watching a recording of "The Unit" late last night and it showed a total length of 45 minutes but the file size was the same as the 1 hour recordings. I noticed that the progress timer went backward a couple times during playback to make up for this.

One question though. I don't have this registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\hcwPP2\DriverData

I have "Servic es", but no hcwPP2 under it.

I do have:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\hcwPP2\DriverData
<no space in Services>

I presume I use the later for the changes? Or should I create the path as you listed it in the other forum post?

Thanks,
-Brad

Are you talking about the space in 'services'? This is just some bug of the way forums software is showing it. No space.

...weird, the second key does not show a space when I edit the post, but for some reason it's there when posted.

Guess so - use the existing path or guess so - create the path as documented?

Sorry, the space in the forum editor, not the space in my registry editor. In the forum editor did not show a space in edit mode on the second key I listed (but did show the space as desired on the first key), but it showed up in both when posted.

I'll try the "Services" path first, if that doesn't work I'll add the path to "Servic es".

I updated the driver. So far, so good on the recordings.

Is there any way to "fix" the recordings with the bad timestamps?
