Can you set the logging level back to 'debug' then reproduce and repost the logs?

Actually, I found this in your logs:
Quote:2007-03-05 10:29:10.625 ERROR [1] Unable to locate DB Provider Factory...about to crash

Given this and your comments above, I really sounds like something is screwed with the database access components on your machine.

formerly, I changed the config.xml as you said, going to SQLite instead of Access.

is this problematic too?

Yeah, it looks like, which makes me thing is something wrong with the underlying data access layer (in common to both Access and SQLite). Given I've not seen anyone else with this problem, this is what leads me to my fairly generic "something is screwed with the database access components on your machine" comment.

Sub, I executed the ChangeDatabase again (to use SQLite), and the config is running now
I even see the plugins panel...

So the problem seem solved.

thank you!

well, sorry, but now it seems i don't have write access to the SQLite :
The capture source is not saved from the config panel;

and i see this in the errror log:

2007-03-05 11:17:21.031 ERROR [1] Error int SourceConfigurationContainer::LoadAll(): System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteException: SQLite error
no such column: allocation_order
at System.Data.SQLite.SQLite3.Prepare(String strSql, SQLiteStatement previous, String& strRemain)
at System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteCommand.BuildNextCommand()
at System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteCommand.GetStatement(Int32 index)
at System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteDataReader.NextResult()
at System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteDataReader..ctor(SQLiteCommand cmd, CommandBehavior behave)
at System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteCommand.ExecuteDbDataReader(CommandBehavior behavior)
at System.Data.Common.DbCommand.ExecuteReader()
at GBPVR.Backend.Common.xda34526142ca690b.x1f966edc637a8924(Boolean x81c765f11f40b327)

the config.xml says:

<DatabaseConnectionString>Data Source=".\gbpvr.db3";Version=3;New=True;</DatabaseConnectionString>
<DatabaseProviderFactory>System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteFactory</DatabaseProviderFactory>
<DatabaseIdentityQuery>select last_insert_rowid()</DatabaseIdentityQuery>

and the bgpvr.db3 file does exists, is 912kb and has a recent date (this datetime)

That looks like an old database. The allocation_order column was added in the most recent release.

You could try copying the empty.db3 file over any existing gbpvr.db3 file.

Hi Sub,

I erased the old db3 with the empty.db3. This solved this problem.
Thank you!
