Yeah, its a good place to live. Its a pretty small city at about 250,000 people.

Yeah, NZ is packed full of that sort of stuff, and Wellington is no exception.

............and skydiving! My daughter's doing an Australia, NZ trip - is loving NZ. She passed through Wellington just a few days ago and is now on the South Island. Skydiving in Taupo (good thing I didn't know beforehand!). My brother's in Waihi and seems to really like it.

Wow Sub! I was gonna try and make an argument for Salt Lake City being somewhere on the list until I saw those pics of Wellington. That looks very nice indeed. If I could just convince the wife that 11755 KM is not too far away from her mother... I might be able to fool her too since she has no concept of a KM.

I agree with bdgbill though, some of those cities... LA? I see Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on the list. Apparently electricity and running water are not considerations? Perhaps it has improved since I lived there.

There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

I think it's time for my wife and I to move to New Zealand to get the hell out of the screwed up sinking ship called USA. It's too corrupt, too much of a police state, too many illegal aliens, too many problems.

What would it take for me to set up home in NZ? I doubt I can just move there.

Believe it or not, a U.S. citizen did that once. I remember that as a young lad.

To paraphrase Lewis Black...

"How do we know the US is the greatest country? Who compiled that chart? Other countries might be giving away free sh*t every day for all we know. You know what Canada gives away?
