On the contrary, selling stuff reduces points. It says something like "the higher the level, the more punishments points are taken from you", but I haven't figured out if they mean level of the game, or level of the tower...

That doesn't sound familiar. I know there's a sell timer that makes it difficult to force creeps through the maze multiple times (wait till they're almost thru, unblock an earlier point, and block their close exit, let them go past your guns again, and repeat), but I hadn't heard about a point deduction. Where'd you find it?

No problem. Funny thing, I've been discussing this game more than gbpvr lateley. Sorry, sub. I'll try to get back on the righteous path again Wink

I'd just like to say - mian, I don't like you very much. Wink

I should've taken notice of the thread subject 'Addictive Game'. I don't normally play games because I tend to get easily hooked (when they're good).....

I've now configured my ADSL router/firewall to lock me out of the game URL for the sake of sanity. I actually had a dream the other night where I was designing mazes with little blobs running around them.

I never managed to complete the 'Normal' game (best attempts were Levels 48 and 49). Time to back out before it drives me nuts. Smile

Cheers,
Brian

Granted, I just turned my computer on, but I'm positive this is the funniest thing I will read today Smile

Okay, who is cohort36 and why is he kicking my butt? I finally had the monkey off my back, and then I saw my scores falling in rank... Sad

Now I'm hooked again. :o

How can I?! I've dropped to #3. 5133 I can see as possible. Not easy or necessarily likely, but possible. 5500+? That's going to require a lot of practice.

Et tu, Fla? Et tu?

Edit:
Well, after trying several failing strategies (including the one-gun max-bonus strategy pictured below), I finally got my best ever score on the Hard level. I can rest again, putting this evil game behind me forever (or until my score gets beaten again).
