I can supply you with 720p and 1080i transport streams if you need some. I'd love to hear how it performs.

I ordered mine yesterday. Here is the system I am putting together. It came to about 450.00USD.

I will start saving for a better case. I wanted the Fusion but it is too wide to fit into my entertainment center (its 17.5 inch my center is 17.25) I want quiet so I selected a low power Lima processor. between that, the integrated graphics and Zalman cooler I am hoping for near silent. Let me know what you think of my set up.

Its pretty close to mine in comparison. Major differences is your AM2 and I am 939 and you have DDR2 and I have DDR. I have the NSK2400 (Fusion w/ out volume knob and VFD), its a great case. Cools well, very quiet but it is a little large. I have the same cpu cooler, and with both of my side 120's on low you can turn the fan WAY down on the cpu with Cool 'N Quiet enabled. My runs between 35*C and 40*C all the time, no matter the load.
I'm curious to see how the board performs... please do report back. ![]() NPVR Rig: HP Laptop, 3rd Gen i7, 8gb DDR3, 250gb SSD (OS), Records to 6tb array on my server, Silicon Dust HDHomeRun PRIME To Purchase: Current Projects:

I found a review on this board... it does look promising...

Yeah, I got it at Newegg before they ran out the first time. I've had to RMA the memory I bought with it. It was Mushkin so I figured it would be ok, but it failed on boot due to memory error. I should get the new memory today. I bought the same memory used to Review the board (I don't remember where I saw the review) so I should be good to go for this weekend.
Whurlston, I’ll take you up on the transport streams when I get up and running…

No problem, just say when.
I'm seriously considering this board so it will be great to know that it will play what I want ![]()

I have my system working. The build went very well. The only issue was that the cpu cooler I selected does not work on a AM2 socket.
When hooked up to a monitor and using the analog audio outs to some pc speakers everything works great. When I hook up the hdmi to my tv I get a great picture but no sound. Has anyone else seen a problem like this? Im kind of stumped. I have no idea how to test the hdmi output.

Have you tried turning on the SPDIF output?

No, I didn't even hook up the spdif b/c I was planning on using the hdmi. Maybe I will try plugging it in to the motherboard header to see it that helps. I should probably check the bios too to see if there is anything spdif related.
