Weather plugin info to main menu page?

there may be a "blue" skin in the community skin, you can ask fatman_do

The weather panel includes the files needed for the blue skin.

Edit C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\skin\Blue\main menu\skin.xml and change the line

<SpecialElement name="Panel" panelName="NextRecording" visible="true" transparency="0.7" loc="245,130" size="490,70"/>

to

<SpecialElement name="Panel" panelName="WeatherPanel" visible="true" transparency="0.7" loc="245,130" size="320,80"/>

Start the GBPVR config application. Go the the plug-ins tab and select weather. Press the Settings button to bring up the weather configuration screen.

Select the "Display Options" tab and make sure that the check box for "Display on Video Archiver panel" is checked.

Select the "Other" tab and make sure that the check box for "Load forecast on initial startup" is checked.

thanks jeff, I didnt know the exact settings off the top of my head, and was at work, so I couldnt look at me setup ot get the info

Follow Jeff's instructions and it will work out fine. If you want to remove the "black box" in the main menu find this section in the ..\gbpvr\skin\blue\mainmenu\skin.xml file:

Note the red !-- and -- is just to draw your attention....
And there is a Blue theme in the Community Skin.
