muxchecker returns (on the server):

GB-PVR has detected the following multiplex filters on your machine:

Found: CyberLink MPEG Muxer
FILE: C:\Program Files\CyberLink\Shared Files\PDMpgMux.ax
VERSION: 2.1.2405

Found: InterVideo Multiplexer
FILE: C:\Program Files\InterVideo\Common\Bin\ivimux.ax
VERSION: 1.8.21.126

If you're running WinXP SP1 or higher, you will also be able to use the built-in DVR-MS mux filter

I see that my cyberlink looks to be a lot older than yours...

Yep. Neither of those would be a good mux.

See the mux catalogue here: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=25630

Remember to deregister old version of the Cyberlink mux first, and double check with MuxChecker after installing one. When multiple Cyberlink muxes are installed, it always goes for the first one listed.

I downloaded and installed:

FILE: C:\Program Files\CyberLink\Shared Files\THMpgMux_5.0.0.2022_.ax
VERSION: 5.0.2022

and live TV problem now fixed. Thanks to Sub and HTPCGB for their help in this matter. Isn't it amazing what deductive reasoning and 'a little help from my friends/forum' can achieve.

Anyway, off now to continue my research on all things BDA Multiplexor (not a lot of fun using technology you don't understand - eh?)...
