the rest of the family is the issue - I've gotten to the point where I know the approximate length of the commercial breaks & use the keypad to skip that many minutes. This results in fewer skips & I haven't seen the problem since.

If anyone with 1.0.16 is having this problem with mvpmc on a wired connection, I will check to see if there is anything I can do to prevent it from the client side. Please post a message with your logs (log flushing enabled please) when the problem occurs to the mvpmc forum here. At least we can determine if it is the dongle or the server causing the problem.

I don't see this specific behaviour, but I may not use GBPVR enough to spot it.

it seems, that with "flush log to disk" enabled the remote is more stable. during my test (see log) it never stopped responding completely. several times i couldn't pause livetv, but i still was able to stop the recording.

after finishing my previous post (livetv continued running) the remote finally did stop responding.

I suggest going back to mvpmc version in donglex2a, I've been having some issues with the alpha.
