The EnableVMR9 setting isnt there by default, so not surprising you didnt find it. The exact registry key can vary depending on what version of the Cyberlink decode you're using but its often either

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CyberLink\PowerDVD\EnableVMR9=1 (DWORD) or,
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CyberLink\Common\CLVSD\EnableVMR9=1 (DWORD) or,
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\CyberLink\Common\CLVSD\EnableVMR9=1 (DWORD)

OK, nevermind. I got ahead of myself. The recordings will now play for abot 1-5 seconds and then the program locks up.

What do I do with the file, once I DL'd it?

Save it into some directory then run:

regsvr32 <c:\path\to\filename.ax>

Then start the config app, and select it as the decoder.

This isn't working, It is giving me the message...

LoadLibrary ("<c:\release\Mpeg2DecFilter.ax>") failed - The specified module could not be found.

regsvr32 <c:\release\Mpeg2DecFilter.ax> That is what I ran from the run menu. And I verified the folder and file name.

Any ideas?

Dont put the 'greater than' an 'less than' symbols in there. It should be: regsvr32 c:\release\Mpeg2DecFilter.ax
