I realized that the comskip gui probably didn't work on dvr-ms files, but why doesn't it work on a converted mpg file. The properties are as follows
-r 29.97
-aspect 16:9
-s 720x480
It creates a perfectly viable mpeg file, but for whatever reason the gui won't read it. The not being able to play dvr-ms doesn't surprise me, but I can't figure out how the conversion is making a file any different than the mpgs I record from the analog side of my tuner card. Is there something that I am forgetting or doing wrong?
Thanks for any help,
-Anthony
