When you do your update, where are you doing it? config app, mlupdater executable or in musiclibrary2 plugin.

Sorry, forgot to mention I changed the internal settings name from musiclibrary2 to musiclibrary - if you want all your old setting back you can go into config.xml and rename the <MusicLibrary2></MusicLibrary2> tags as <MusicLibrary></MusicLibrary>

I expected the taglib dll to be in the distribution, so it was not there. Unfortunately the error remained after I placed both dll's from the zip into the \plugin directory. (I assume in 99.12 it does not make sense to have the subdirectories \musiclibrary2 and \common?)
The error appears both in the client and in the configurator. Attached one of the logs

Then if your using the external update command line ( i think I added itfor you didn't i??) use the one from the plugins\musiclibrary directory....

No worries, I just couldn't remember who asked for the command line interface, and was trying to figure out how you were doing the updates.


The reason the taglib wasn't there, and why ultraid3 isn't there is because they can be added/removed - i'll work on why this doesn't seem to be working for you, since I tried it last night and it seemed to worked withouot the library in gbpvr. I just need to verify that I'd removed all copies.

So I'll continue working on this, but I suppose if you go off to the web site, and drop the library in, does it solve all your problems?

Which library, I don't understand what you mean.

Psycik, this sure seems to be most stable release since 99.12 and you older plugin, I've running in random mode for 16 hours now and I'm going to let it go 'til it stops.

Some other observations:

I run in tkgafs random mode but unless one of the selection menu panes has the title highlighted (which happened frequently) the Red button does nothing.

The new dll seems to help performance, on the last beta I saw a 100% CPU utilization on starting a new track, now it seems to be 40-60%.

Which library, I don't understand what you mean.

That is what I did I apparantly was not clear about that in my second post. In the end I had taglib-sharp in: plugins, plugins\musiclibrary2 plugins\common. Rebooted a few times. Problem is still there. The logs that I provided in a previous post here were with taglib-sharp in all three directories.

hmm, strange. I haven't seen any mention of any one else having problems, but i guyess you might be the only one still on gbpvr?? I'll try and do som more testing tonight with gbpvr and with various tag reader libraries.

So to confirm you do have the taglib-sharp one?
And you Don't have the UltraID3lib?

I have both, but also tried each seperately. See attachement for versions
