Blue-Retro-SHV pvrx2 skin

I have a 14" TV connected to an MVP, so I am testing your skin... nice

I have the MVP tab set to Blue-Retro-SHV skin.

If I set the General tab to Blue-Retro-SHV, I can see all the icons perfectly as well as your big fonts and stuff.
If I set the General tab to Blue, I can see the TV Guide, Recordings, Live TV and System icons perfectly - but they are not your icons. I can still see your big fonts and stuff.

I've not identified where the the alien icons come from yet, but the TV Guide is the standard Red/White on from the Blue skin.

This might help a bit more... Here are a set of logs covering me setting General tab to blue, then cycling through all the items on the main menu. Then I set the General tab to Blue-Retro-SHV and again cycle through all the items on the main menu.

My bad on the "_TaskImages" folder. That is a new feature I missed.

Thank you for that, it wasn't something I had tried as my MVP server is sitting on top of a cupboard in the hallway & for some funny reason doesn't get used for viewing on.

The taskimages you are seeing are from the old gbpvr skin, not even in the skin2 directory. I have just posted a bug report so we will see what sub comes back with.

Nothing funny about that - it's probably something simple like you don't have TV in the hallway.

Yep it has been like that since PVRX2 came out (I didn't think that was the problem reported here).

This is the case for any "legacy" plugins that aren't skinned in the \skin2\SkinNameHere\ folder.

You can get around this if you have a skin of the same name as this one in the \skin\SkinNameHere\ directory, it will look for those task images (and legacy plugin xml's) there.

Sorry, I'm a bit confused here... Jaggy's skin is a modified copy of the standard Blue skin. It is located in the \skins2\ folder. One of the problem icons is the TV Guide. No plugins involved.

Is it the case that if you are skinning in \skins2\ you need to have a copy in \skins\ as well?

Great skin, THX my WAF loves it.

I have an issue with the BurnDVDX2 plugin. The plugin does not want to start unless I copy the Blur Retro SHV skin directory to the legacy \skin\ directory. The logs give this error:

I see you got this sorted out in the BurnDVDX2 support thread Although I may have to advise people about this on the wiki page.

Nope that is a glitch in the current version of gbpvr, sub has fixed it for the next release.

The problem with taskimages (icons) displaying wrongly if you have a different skin selected for your general skin & your MVP skin affects all skins not just this one & has been sorted out in the next release of gbpvr, so I guess we will just have to wait (impatiently) for that
