Have you already got an ex-sky dish on your house, or are going to be getting one of those too?

Already have an ex sky dish...so that should be pointed in the right direction shouldn't it?

I keep getting letters from then saying only $49 to reconnect since we notice you have an existing dish...

Yep that'd do the job.

In addition to the Freeview channels there is also a decent Australian channel called 'SCTV Central' that you'll be able to tune in, which carries alot of the Australian channel Seven shows. http://www.mytalk.com.au/newdesign/pages...gionId=312

Update C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\BDA\DVB-S\1602.ini to have the following, then it'll be picked up on the next scan.

Quote:[SATTYPE]
1=1602
2=Optus D1 (NZ FTA)
[DVB]
0=3
1=12483,H,22500,34
2=12456,H,22500,34
3=12637,V,5100,34

Sub, presumably if you are sharing a sat dish with a SKY STB then you will not be able to receive the 12637 V transponder because the STB will be controlling the polarisation of the dish (i.e. the STB will have the dish in H polarisation). So to receive V polarisation you would need to shut down the SKY STB.

Do I have that right?

Cheers Mike
