Just gave it a look. Seems that my problem was only of a temporary kind. I got a tvguide for 6 days (until wednesday 28 november) at the moment. Will keep an eye on it but for now I leave everything as it is. 6 days ahead is very nice. Would be nice if it is 14 days but I settle for 6 days..

It's apparently named after some kind of sherry, and E.A Poe wrote a short story about it; its all about some guy being buried alive. Creepy if you ask me, but at least I've now been able to disprove being a culture-barbar.)

Strange that it spells IPR instead of RIP

Amontillado's works fine for me now. I think when I used it some time ago, I had to disable descriptions because that would give errors.
Since quite a while I've been using the epg from xmltv.assies.info , worked very well, but it stopped updating a week ago. Let's hope it get's up again.

I had the same problem with my tv_grab_nl_py (python based alternative for xmltv that caches the programme details - updates in about a minute per channelSmile), but after adding a user agent to the http request everything is fine again. It seems that tvgids.nl was barring any request without a user-agent. It is unclear whether this is just a security measure or whether they want to stop grabbers.

NLGrabXMLTV that uses the epg from xmltv.assies.info seems to work again. The files on xmltv.assies.info are being renewed again.Smile Let's hope it keeps working.

-=TJ=-Stefan Wrote:I still use Amontadillo's grabber because it can grab 6 days ahead from the tvgids.nl. But it seems I have to install another. Got a grabber in my mail from someone. Will give it a test and will let you know. Otherwise it seems we have to use TVxb. No option found in Amontadillo's grabber to impersonate a browser Sad

Give the tv_grab_nl_py grabber a try. It works the same as the regular xmltv grabber, but it caches the detailed results so that it does not have to download those every day. It does refresh the time information every time. You can download it from http://graphics.tudelft.nl/~paul/grabber/. It does, however, have a small bug in it that results in wrong stop-time for programs after midnight. PM me if you'd like my fixed version for it.

NLGrabXMLTV works very fine too, it downloads the complete epg from xmltv.assies.info, so it doesn't put any burden on tvgids.nl. And it's very quick, it only takes a few secs to update the epgSmile.

No didn't have to change anything, but now I'm back to NLGrabXmltv-xmltv.assies.info.
