you can use the xmltv gui and set up uk_bleb instead of uk_tr.

But note that the channel names are different so I think it will mean remapping.

Thanks, Keith
I've given bleb a try - i can get listings for bbc and c4 but not itv but it's better than an empty tv guide which makes gbpvr rather useless!
thanks again

I've just been and checked my development machine, I've got a XML data files from 20th Dec and 26th Dec. Neither of them run past the 1St Jan. I was hoping to use the 26th to bridge the gap but it looks like this has been a problem for a while...

Looking at the file dates on the RT site, it looks like the last update was the 19th Dec.

I've just managed to get an XML file from exporting from tsreader that xmltvgui can read in. However, many station names are wrong and it messes up the gbpvr database. Hopefully someone can do a dump of the files tomorrow.

Now we know how the US felt when their EPG went walkies.

Maybe they are all taking in turns to stand in Oxford Street and spout inane cliches on the news about how many people are spending money at the sales.....again!

What on earth is going on? Now that I've tried to use the bleb grabs and off air listings. Any recordings set for the new year scheduled through SearchWiz2 pulls up the recording conflict box, with no program listed as conflicting!? Neither does the TV Listing show the 'full score'. I've gone back to the radio times grabs, but the new years progs show up in searches. Can anyone advise what might be happening or what file the off air listings go into so I can delete it. Don't fancy removing the tuners like last time and lose all the schedules I got so far.

Could you fix it so it doesn't grab 100% CPU time on downloads? I ditched iPlayer because it trashed a couple of GB-PVR recordings as a result of hogging the CPU.

Oops - probably not a discussion for this thread. Rolleyes

I understood that the Radio Times became a sub-company of the BBC a long, long time ago. Not sure it's a BBC issue. Unless you know different.

BTW - do you need any developers on the iPlayer team? Work's a bit thin on the ground for me in the New Year. Big Grin

From what we pay the BBC here in UK we could all do with a job and a stake in the company. Otherwise given, we have at least 28 'freeview' channels most of whom manage without tax payers money, why not divide that £150 by the same and then get by Mr BBC. Otherwise, please cut the propaganda with yet another round of sensationalist 'our-earth-is-dying-because-we-are burning-too-much-middle-eastern oil' documentaries bundled with yet another volley of government propped scientists. Anyway, how about my scheduling problem anyone? I seem to have lost the BBC schedules for the new year and am wasting my 150 quid.

My comment from my previous message holds (I believe)....

Radio Times is a company in its own right. The RT xmltv downloads are provided free of charge so you can't really complain when the service breaks down.

There again - I pay a quid a week for the RT magazine so I could at least complain that I'm funding their service.....but it doesn't say in the magazine that I'm entitled to it anyway.

We're all in the same boat. If you don't have a DVB-T capture card then you're a bit stuffed. I'm in the middle of hacking things to pull a schedule in from my DVB-T cards to feed my analogue cards. It may work or not - who can tell.

Cheers,
Brian
