I have seen it before, but I figured it was due to some alliance you had with them so paid it no mind.

They have been here for about 2 months now give or take a month. It seems like the default, especially on the front page. I clicked on it a couple of times for you! Actually I wanted to see what it was about.

Enjoy the trip, send a few snow balls home to the wife and child.

I always seem to get VideoRedo - not really intrusive enough to spend anytime trying to get rid of it - and it is relevant...

No, its just the ads google is dishing up. They must of paid Google for the pleasure of their targeted ads being displayed on the GB-PVR website.

I mainly get the VideoRedo and PC Alchemy flash. I haven't been able to get AdBlock configured to allow other adds on the gbpvr web-site to see the others.
PC Alchemy is funny because the add is here but they won't ship to Canada.

On my wife's laptop the weirdest placed adds I've seen came from SageTV.

I thought I'd mention the PaylPal button because I hate the orange colour (but it's still worth clicking on). I also wish they'd keep their cert's up to date.

VideoRedo must have done a similar thing as it seems to be the only ad I get at the moment.

It's annoying for a number of reasons...

1. By forcing their ad, other companies don't get their ads shown.

2. If I already own a copy of VideoRedo then I don't need to see their ad and point 1 (above) stands.

3. I tried a trial version of VideoRedo and it didn't do anything I needed so I didn't buy it. Therefore I don't want to see their ad and point 1 (above) still stands.

4. I used to randomly click on the Google ads as I know they generate revenue. I can't see the point in repeatedly clicking on the same ad so I don't bother.

Cheers,
Brian
