zero length recording

You wont be having the same problem. You'd probably need to post the logs and the name/time of the recording so I'd know where to look.

Here are my logs. The program I was recording was:

NOS Koninklijk jarig in Carre, channel 22, 2008-02-02, 12:42ish

There is one error in the recording log, much later that day:

2008-02-02 18:49:32.500 ERROR [5] Found expired lease. Stopping recording.

I have started using comskip recently and the directory of the recording did contain the comskip txt files (I sadly removed them) in addition to the zero length mpg file, so it seems like it was recording and the file was truncated afterwards.
