I will report back later. I believe it was free video apps in general, but it only had Myth on there. It may have been PC World. I agree about the windbag comment. Occasionally they have some nice reviews and info though. I like Maximum PC, but I haven't renewed it yet this year.

I would like to protest. :p

I'm a big linux fan and everything, but getting this video stuff to work is bad enough on its own, but when you also have to battle bad linux or unavailable linux drivers and codec it's hell. That's why I went with GBPVR instead of any of the linux variants.

I agree! I tried MythTV for awhile, I will say that it is nice but it doesn't like to play nice with all the driver issues, and everything else. I was getting very frustrated with linux because it can't use the 1600 which is a nice tuner. I would say that GBPVR is alot easier to use and more friendly...

I get PC Mag, (thats who had it) and they are a big windows hater...plus I noticed that most of those guys at PC Mag like to tinker or something because most the stuff they look is stuff that you have to spend MASSIVE amounts of time working with. I got a job folks...can't spend all day with this stuff.

They got handbrake, VLC, etc. and MythTV..no gbpvr.Sad
