Just FYI,

I had some issues with the subtitles being out of sync, and the author said
I should try the -myth option.

ccextractorwin -srt -myth %1 -o "%~dpn1.srt"

works very well for me on HD recordings with a HVR1600.

P.S.: I found that the "ATI MPEG decoder" when used with the

"Show closed captions (Intervideo/VMR7/VMR9)" switch enabled

displays the original captions (no srt files needed) in PVRX2. This is very useful to check the timing of the generated srt files, if they are also enabled.
