I had a chance to do some testing and the problem doesn't appear to be related to the single quote this folder plays fine and it as a potentially troublesome & too.

Code:
song0|0|0|stream?f=C:\flac\Iron & Wine\The Shepherd's Dog\01 Pagan Angel & A Borrowed Car.flac|
song1|0|0|stream?f=C:\flac\Iron & Wine\The Shepherd's Dog\02 White Tooth Man.flac|
song2|0|0|stream?f=C:\flac\Iron & Wine\The Shepherd's Dog\03 Lovesong Of The Buzzard.flac|

I would try things related to the share like using your IP instead of Lnkstn-bse65 for the share name. Maybe the http server doesn't resolve this the same way. I've only tested shares with IP addresses.

Only problem is that the local music will not play either....see my last post on the other page....that took the network out of the mix.

Check the date of your GBPVRRecordingService.exe it should be the one from pch-patches.zip March 28.

If it is, did you ever get telnet resolved? This is starting to remind me of Lindsay's problem which got confused with a playlist issue.

Yes....3/28 version....and yes my telnet is now working fine....when I start it I see the message that it is running.

I can see the same behavior in NMT native if I click on the folder name of the album......press the play button....there is a black screen then return to the folder. This is what I am seeing via the GBPVR interface.

If I go into the folder and press the play button on the first track it will play everything in the folder....if I press enter then it only plays the selected track....which aligns to what the wiki reads for playing everything in a folder....When I press play key in GBPVR I get just the one track instead of all the tracks....if I press enter it plays just the one track as well.....

From NMT wiki:
How do I play all the files in the same folder?

Press PLAY to play all files in the folder. Pressing ENTER will play only the single file highlighted

I think you need to go to the PCHServe route as described here.

http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=2...stcount=70

You can't compare how the NMT and GBPVR do things.

I think you have to ignore my instructions to not run from devnx\GBPVR I seem to be the only one that can run it outside.

Ok...figured out how to get the server running....you need to create a directory and have a web\bin directory under it with all the files that are normally in the web\bin directory.

Ok....log is short and sweet but it does point out an error...

C:\PCHServer\PCHServe.exe
Processing HTTP request for: /stream?f=%5CDen%5CVideo%5CTV%5CMVP000~1.PLS
requested file not found: \Den\Video\TV\MVP000~1.PLS

I am guessing that the problem is that there is a slash missing at the begining....it should be \\den instead of \den.

That probably me. See if you can move the recording directory to a drive if this works.

If I move my recording directory in the GBPVR config I think all my recordings will be deleted from the gbpvr database since they won't be found on the local drive(new recording drive).... correct?
